The Fender John Osborne Signature Telecaster brings the road-tested sound, feel, and character of Brothers Osborne guitarist John Osborne's personal instrument to a production Fender Telecaster built for serious players. Finished in Road Worn Olympic White, this signature model combines vintage-inspired Fender construction with custom electronics and one of its defining features: the Fender B String Bender.
Closely modeled after John Osborne's own Telecaster, this instrument is designed for players who want authentic Telecaster twang with the expressive capabilities of a B-bender. The integrated Fender B String Bender allows the B string to be raised by up to a whole step, making it possible to create pedal-steel-inspired bends, country lead lines, double-stops, and expressive chord voicings without taking your fretting hand off the neck.
Road Worn Olympic White Telecaster With Vintage Character
The alder body features Fender's Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Olympic White, giving the guitar the appearance and feel of a well-traveled instrument. The aged finish captures the character of a guitar that has spent years on stage while retaining the familiar response and resonance of an alder-bodied Telecaster.
The Road Worn treatment continues onto the neck with a 1968 "C"-shape maple neck and hand-rubbed oil finish. The maple cap fingerboard features a vintage-style 7.25" radius, black dot inlays, and 21 jumbo frets for a comfortable blend of traditional Fender feel and modern playing performance.
