The Vintage Sunburst finish highlights the guitar's traditional styling, while the semi-hollow construction offers a different feel and tonal character from a conventional solidbody electric guitar.

A Classic Guild Starfire With Vintage-Inspired Style

The Guild Starfire has long been associated with the distinctive sound and appearance of semi-hollow electric guitars. The Newark St. Collection Starfire IV ST carries that heritage forward with a double-cutaway body, traditional f-holes, elegant body detailing, and a rich Vintage Sunburst finish.

The semi-hollow body design gives the guitar its unmistakable visual identity and makes it an appealing option for players who appreciate the look and feel of classic hollow and semi-hollow electric guitars.

From blues and roots rock to indie, alternative, jazz, and classic rock, the Starfire IV ST is a versatile choice for guitarists seeking an instrument with vintage character and a broad range of musical applications.

Dual Guild LB-1 Pickups With Versatile Tone

At the heart of the Starfire IV ST is a pair of Guild LB-1 pickups, offering a dual-pickup configuration that can cover a wide variety of musical styles.

The three-way pickup selector allows you to choose the neck pickup, bridge pickup, or both pickups together. Separate volume and tone controls for each pickup provide additional flexibility when shaping your sound.

Dial in warmer, fuller tones for blues and jazz, brighter and more defined sounds for rhythm playing, or a balanced combination of both pickups for expressive lead work and layered chord voicings.

Whether you're playing clean through a tube amplifier, adding a little edge of breakup, or exploring overdriven tones, the Starfire IV ST gives you a versatile foundation for developing your own sound.

Semi-Hollow Construction and Comfortable Playability

The Starfire IV ST features a mahogany semi-hollow body and a set mahogany neck, combining traditional construction with a comfortable double-cutaway design.

Its 24.75-inch scale length provides a familiar playing feel for guitarists who prefer a slightly shorter scale than a typical 25.5-inch electric guitar. The 22-fret fingerboard and approximately 1 11/16-inch nut width offer a familiar layout for chords, rhythm work, and lead playing.

An ebony fingerboard, 9.5-inch fingerboard radius, and double-cutaway body complete a specification package suited to a wide range of playing styles.

The result is a classic-looking semi-hollow electric guitar that feels at home in the practice room, recording studio, or on stage.

Vintage Sunburst Finish and Classic Hardware

The Vintage Sunburst finish gives this Guild a timeless appearance, emphasizing its traditional semi-hollow silhouette and understated elegance.

Classic f-holes, a dark pickguard, and traditional double-cutaway styling contribute to the instrument's unmistakable character. The Guild Adjusto-Matic-style bridge and stopbar tailpiece provide a familiar, straightforward bridge arrangement, while the dual-pickup electronics make it easy to move between contrasting tones.

For players who want the visual appeal of a traditional semi-hollow guitar without sacrificing everyday versatility, the Starfire IV ST is an appealing addition to any guitar collection.
