There's no substitute for the mellow and naturally resonant sound of an electric bass with a semi-acoustic body. Ibanez built their AGB200 semi-hollowbody bass to capture the fat warmth of a classic semi-hollowbody, which is why they built it with an all-laminate linden body. Whether you're playing rockabilly, blues, jazz, or any number of modern styles, you're going to love the character the AGB200 semi-hollowbody bass guitar brings to your music.
Ibanez basses are used in every style of music from metal to rock to jazz and country. The versatile pickups in the AGB200 give you warm, full tones that are ideal for any gig. These pickups complement the semi-hollow design perfectly with extra output and punch. We are sure you'll be impressed with the sound of this unique bass.
The slightly shorter 30-inch scale of the Ibanez AGB200 is extremely comfortable to play. A set maple/mahogany neck topped with a laurel fretboard feels great thanks to its Artcore Bass neck profile. The 15.75-inch radius makes the entire fingerboard easy to reach, and the cutaway body design lets you access the upper fretboard without any issues. There's no question about it: the Ibanez AGB200 was made to be played!
