USED Spector NS Pulse II 5 Ultra Violet Matte w/ Gigbag

The Spector NS Pulse II 5 in Ultra Violet Matte combines Spector's iconic NS bass design with powerful active electronics, premium tonewoods, and a striking matte purple finish. This particular example is used in excellent condition, has received a complete professional setup from Metz Music, and includes a Spector gigbag.

The NS Pulse II is built around Spector's unmistakable three-dimensionally carved body, an ergonomic design known for its comfortable playing position and balanced feel. The Swamp Ash body and Quilted Maple top provide a strong tonal foundation while giving the bass a distinctive figured appearance under the Ultra Violet Matte finish.

A Striking 5-String Spector NS Bass

The Ultra Violet Matte finish gives this NS Pulse II 5 a distinctive look without hiding the figuring of the maple top. The sculpted Spector body is paired with a three-piece roasted maple bolt-on neck and Macassar Ebony fingerboard, creating a modern instrument designed for players who need extended range and reliable playability.

The 5-string configuration and 35" extra-long scale provide the extended low-B range and string tension associated with modern Spector basses. The 24-fret Macassar Ebony fingerboard features illuminating side dots and Spector's signature logo inlay at the 12th fret.

EMG 40DC Pickups + TonePump Jr. Electronics

The NS Pulse II 5 is equipped with two active EMG 40DC humbucking pickups and Spector's TonePump Jr. active preamp.

The electronics provide a powerful, focused bass sound with plenty of output and tonal flexibility. Controls include:

• Master Volume

• Pickup Blend

• Bass Boost

• Treble Boost

The active EMG pickup configuration and TonePump Jr. preamp make the NS Pulse II 5 particularly well suited to players looking for a modern, aggressive bass voice with strong low-end definition and plenty of tonal control.

35" Scale, Roasted Maple & Macassar Ebony

One of the defining features of the NS Pulse II 5 is its 35" extra-long scale length. The longer scale helps maintain a tight, articulate feel across all five strings, particularly on the low-B string.

The three-piece roasted maple neck is paired with a Macassar Ebony fingerboard, 24 frets, a 1.75" graphite nut, and .66" string spacing at the bridge. Fluorescent side dots provide easy fretboard orientation on dark stages.

Spector Hardware

The NS Pulse II 5 is finished with black hardware, including a Spector Locking Bridge and sealed die-cast tuners. The locking bridge provides secure string anchoring, while the die-cast tuners offer dependable tuning stability.

The result is a modern 5-string bass that combines Spector's distinctive NS ergonomics with the extended range, active electronics, and hardware demanded by contemporary players.
