The Taylor 514ce brings together traditional acoustic guitar tonewoods with Taylor's innovative V-Class bracing architecture to create an instrument that is equally at home on stage, in the studio, or in the hands of a dedicated acoustic player.
Its Grand Auditorium body shape offers an excellent balance between comfort, projection, and tonal versatility. The body is large enough to produce a full, powerful sound while remaining comfortable for a wide variety of playing styles, making the 514ce an excellent choice for strumming, fingerstyle, flatpicking, songwriting, recording, and live performance.
The Urban Ironbark back and sides provide a muscular, articulate tonal foundation with a blend of warmth, punch, depth, and clarity. Taylor pairs this tonewood with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, giving the guitar a mature, played-in character with excellent responsiveness and dynamic range.
At the heart of the instrument is Taylor's V-Class bracing, which helps the guitar produce increased volume and sustain while supporting more accurate and musical intonation.
