The Boss PSM-5 Power Supply & Master Switch is a pedal used by Prince from the early 1980s to the late 1990s. It does not produce an effect, but is used to power other pedals and mute the entire pedalboard. It remained on Prince’s pedalboard from his first use of Boss pedals in 1982 through to the Emancipation era, after which his pedalboard was revamped and a more modern power supply was introduced.
