The 1909 Series Aluminum snare drum has the kind of versatility that players from all backgrounds flock to. With laser-cut bearing edges for better head seating, laser-cut snare beds for greater snare sensitivity, and a three-way Trick Drums throw off for variable snare tensions, these drums offer countless improvements over some the most cherished classic aluminum snare drums of the past. If you're looking for a snare with vintage characteristics and a modern edge, look no further than the WFLIII Drums aluminum snare.
Aluminum makes one heck of a snare drum, just look at the prices of used Acrolites and Ludalloy Supraphonics. The WFLIII Drums aluminum snare, crafted from an 1/8″ of laser-cut aluminum, is sensitive and woody when played soft and opens up to a polite bark with a fat bottom end as you play out. This snare handles a wide tuning range, too, which means it serves just about any style of music you throw at it.
